Product Description

Kitchen Top Natural Oil is an environmentally friendly product based on vegetable oils and isoparaffin solvent, and unleaded drying agents. The oil has solid matter content of approx. 60 % and penetrates the wood surface easily which ensures a hard wearing surface.

Surface treatment of hardwood & softwood.

Characteristics

An extremely hard surface, with no film on the surface. An enhancement of the natural wood structure. Easily maintained with further applications.

Application

Pretreatment Wood surface must be clean, dried and free from dust;

Sanding with grain 150-180 depending on product.

Application

Natural Oil may be used straight from container. Quantity used depends on type of wood - Using roller coater would require about 30-50 gr. Per m2 with two applications;

Hand spray as above; excess to be removed before being put in drying tunnel or on drying shelves.

Viscosity correction with appropriate solvent.

Cleaning of machinery with appropriate solvent or other agent.

Drying

Through vertical multiple camber dryer with max. 35c in drying area. Drying time approx. 2 hours. On shelves at 20c, touch dry after about 4 hours.

Maintenance

Cleaning with appropriate soap mixed with lukewarm water. May be re-oiled after 1 to 2 years with oil on cloth. With the right maintenance, the surface will not need re-sanding but depending upon usage re-oiling can be beneficial.

Warning  - Oiled cloths etc. must be burnt or washed immediately after use to prevent self ignition.
